30 Days of 

Day 6... 

Today I am Thankful for our oldest son... Jacob Robert.

From the moment he graced our lives he has truly been one of a kind!!!

 

He is caring, thoughtful and has always been a deep thinker! He can light up a room but also be a quiet observer... and he never misses a thing!!! Once you get to know him, you will see there are many sides to this extraordinary boy!!

He is funny, talented, pensive and older beyond his years!!! He is my TV watching clone but his Daddy's son when it comes to anything sports!!
Jacob is a fabulous big brother, when he wants to be :)) 
Just like any boys... these brothers fight, compete and play hard every day! Matthew thinks his big brother hung the moon and I just know these 2 are going to be more than brothers as the years roll on!!

This kid is a fireball on the field, no matter what sport he is playing!! Sometimes his intensity gets the better of him, but when he harnesses it he is an amazing sight to watch on the soccer field or the basketball court!! He comes by his temper honestly... and the same goes for his loving spirit! Jacob has been a strong-willed child from birth, and I see him growing into a strong minded young man more and more every day!!

Our family would not be complete without the presence of this big boy! I love him to the moon and back!! Thankful does not sum up how I feel to be his Mom!!!

Day 5... Random Thankfulness

: Thankful for warm slippers

:Thankful for text messages from friends

:Thankful for a good burger

:Thankful for snuggles on the couch

:Thankful for peaceful days while boys are in school

:Thanful for hot glue, cause it makes up for my lack of sewing abilities

:Thankful for music that takes me away and makes me sing ridiciously loud in the car

:Thankful for front porches

:Thankful for warm tea in the morning before anyone is out of bed

:Thankful for new shoes

:Thankful for being the only girl in a house of boys

:Thankful for the smell of a fire burning

:Thankful for movies and quoting movies

:Thankful for cold grapes that crunch in your mouth when you bite into them

:Thankful for the scent of a candle burning

:Thankful for long pour of wine after a long day

So many things to be thankful for :)))

Day 4...

Today my post is plain and simple! 

I am thankful for this man..

He is my husband, my best friend, the one person who levels me out but can also challenge me like no other, my partner, a jokster, and someone I have loved more than I ever thought I could!! We have grown up together, battled thru hard times, rejoiced in good times, and buckled down but enjoyed the ride together thru 17 years of ups and downs, twists and turns!! He is an amazing father to our boys, he guides them and loves them with such a caring and strong heart. I could not be more blessed and thankful that God brought us together and keeps us going thru grace, as we learn about life and love more fully every day we have together!!
